The Northumberland Cycling Campaign aims to be a collective voice for improved cycling infrastructure in the region.
They also represent Northumberland as part of a growing network of organisations nationally as well as in the North East, campaigning for cleaner, greener transport, and safer cycling infrastructure and conditions.
Impact
Current and potential utility cyclists in Northumberland will benefit from this project.
Northumberland Cycling Campaign hopes to begin with impacting a small group of people, before becoming a stronger voice in the region and reaching a wider audience.
The project also aims to input into the transport plan, with specific cycling infrastructure seen in the improved cycling network. This will then benefit those who have moved from using cars as their main form of transport to using their bikes for some or part of their journey.
